Mike Dodson Endorses Derek Schmidt

Am I naive? Or am I optimistic?

Maybe I'm a little from column A and a little from column B.

I guess I just expected too much from a Kansas House Rep whose district is the west side of the City of Manhattan, where the majority of residents believe in kindness, in equality and equity, in humanity, and in doing what's right.

Just over a week ago, the R candidate for Kansas Governor held a rally for himself, boosted by the appearance of Florida's Ron DeSantis. (Sidenote: It's perplexing to witness Derek calculate DeSantis's stump speech as a boost.)

Derek said it himself; he thinks Florida is the model state

Crikey. Buckle yourselves in, folks. This is gonna be rough.

Between DeSantis's willful cruelty in trafficking humans to Martha's Vineyard -and- Kansas' cruel state legislature, we are at a truly incredible crossroads here.

Why are they going all in on cruelty???

Yes, as many will point out: it's the cruelty that's the point.

Likewise, you know who else is driving this bus on the highway of cruelty? Special interest groups.

Mike Dodson has decided to willfully stand on the side of cruelty.

This is not Kansas. This is most certainly not Manhattan! We have solid, strong values - and to witness our own House Rep sell himself out feels like a betrayal to our common good.

It's important for you to be aware of Mike Dodson's allegiance to outside special interest groups. He says it himself on video. (Full story here)

These are the bullies I'm talking about. And I promise I will stand up to them - as I've been doing all along. :)

Have a plan to vote in the November 8th General Election. Early voting begins Oct. 19th.
